Founder and President Charles Moss formed Energy Management Company in 1995. Energy Management Company is devoted to saving residential and commercial power users money, by reducing their monthly power bills through electricity demand control, without lifestyle changes. Our residential sales potential has grown proportionally with residential development, which is now at a historic high nationwide. The core markets we service are the metropolitan survey areas of Virginia and North Carolina. We believe strongly in the value of our solutions and demand control products (that's why every sale is made on the basis of a twelve month trial period). If a client, at the end of twelve months does not see a value in the solution we've provided, they will be allowed to revert back to their previous way of electricity billing and usage with a refund, minus their savings during the twelve month trial period. As a testament to Energy Management Company, after thousands of installations residentially and commercially, we have only had two clients revert back. Most of our clients realize a full return on investment within twelve to twenty-four months of post installation.

In the coming years, Energy Management Company will expand it's focus to not only sell analysis services and demand control products, but also offer electricity auditing solutions through our commercial division. This hardware/software combination will allow clients with geographically diverse locations, to centrally monitor and identify energy waste and billing errors. Technology such as this is ideal for city governments, school systems, industrial applications and any geographically diverse organization that owns it's facilities.
